"Tarrant County deserves a justice system that exists to serve the people, not politics. As Justice of the Peace, I’ll deliver timely decisions with fairness and transparency."

- Ricky Rodriguez

Early Voting: February. 17th - 27th, 2026    Election Day: March 3rd, 2026

Ricky grew up in North Richland Hills. This July, he and his wife, a middle school teacher, celebrated 21 years of marriage. Together, they have two children.

For over a decade, Ricky worked at Bell Helicopter, starting as a janitor and advancing to a role in purchasing. In 2015, he left Bell to complete his education. Working overnight shifts at the Amazon Fulfillment Center in Haslet, Ricky would then drive to the University of North Texas, catching a brief rest in his car before class. For nearly two years, he maintained this rigorous schedule before earning his degree in Political Science, driven by a lifelong calling to public service.

Ricky immediately put his degree and passion for service to work solving problems and communicating with constituents for federal and state-level elected conservatives. As Executive Director for the Tarrant County Republican Party, Ricky’s leadership fortified the county’s dedication to conservative values.

Today, Ricky is a licensed realtor, insurance agent, and City Council Member for North Richland Hills, where he applies sound judgment, respects the law, and upholds the belief that justice should be fair, impartial, and accessible to everyone.

Infrastructure & Safety

I’ve prioritized investing in better roads and stronger support for our police and fire departments—because safe streets begin with smart investments. As your next Justice of the Peace, I’ll continue to stand with law enforcement by ensuring our court operates efficiently, respects their time, and upholds the rule of law. Public safety doesn’t end in the streets—it extends into the courtroom.

Fiscal Responsibility

I delivered the No New Revenue tax rate—lowering taxes without sacrificing city services—because protecting your wallet matters. As Justice of the Peace, I’ll bring that same mindset to the courtroom: running an efficient, respectful, and cost-effective court that serves the people, not bureaucracy.

Efficiency & Leadership

I helped bring lean management practices to North Richland Hills to create a smarter, more efficient city—and I’ll bring that same leadership to the Justice of the Peace court. I’ll uphold the standard of delivering timely, fair decisions without delay. Efficiency is respect for the people of Precinct 1.

Transparency & Citizen Engagement

I’ve made it a priority to listen to the community. As Justice of the Peace, I’ll run a fair, honest, and accessible courtroom—because this is the people’s court. Every person deserves to be heard, every case handled with integrity, and every decision made with transparency and accountability.
